He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur S. Hostetter and Gertrude Hostetter (Light); his daughter Barbara Ann Hostetter Mishriki; and his siblings, Dorothy Willis, Kathryn Shoop, Ruth Hoffman, Martha Sholly, Pearl Hostetter and Arthur L. Hostetter.
He is survived by: his son Edwin C. Hostetter II (Jean M. Hostetter) of Robesonia; his sister Janice (late Lloyd Kreider); and his grandchildren, Kate A. Mishriki (Brandon Baglivo), Hannah E. Mishriki (Kyle McGraw), Bradley R. Lintner, Christopher R. Lintner and Gregory W. Frimd.
