She was predeceased by: her parents, Arden E. Calhoun and Florence E. Calhoun (Coder) of Brockway. She is survived by: her sister Lois E. Douglas; her husband Carl L. Grubb; her sons, Brian (Lynda) of Hershey and Steven (Amy) of Hummelstown; her grandchildren, Nathan, Alyssa of Hershey, Logan and Conor of Hummelstown; and her sister Ruth A. Shaffer of Virginia Beach.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Four Diamonds Fund, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.

“To Carl and family, I was saddened to see of the passing of your wife, We (Miss Calhoun, you and Me, Miss Deets) met in 1962 as teachers in the Palmyra Schools. And then Doris was a Bridesmais in my wedding - April 15, 1962. I was always sorry we lost Contact with each other. We lived so close but so far away. Busy with Family and careers. (We lived in South Hanover Twp.) Doris was a special person. Blessings and live with the memories.”
