He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Derr and Elizabeth Josephine Hoffman Shroy; and his sister Elizabeth Hornberger. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Bonawitz Derr; his daughters, Bonnie K. Boyer (late Richard Boyer) and Wendy L. Derr; his close friend Christopher Pease; and his grandsons, Derek Boyer (Jennifer), Jeremy Boyer (Jennifer) and Mark Boyer (Brittney). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
