He was predeceased by: his daughter Darlene M. Thomas; and his brother Robert Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jane L. Thomas (Brandt); his children, Cindy Reed, Clayton Thomas, Jr. and David Thomas; his siblings, Donna Allen and Bernard Thomas; and his grandchildren, Alex and Carrie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
