He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Sowers and Flora A. Henry Sowers; his son Scott A. Sowers; and his brother John E. Sowers. He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Houser Sowers; and his children, William W. Sowers (Nancy) of Middletown, Randy Sowers of Hummelstown and Melody A. O'Brien (Roy) of Middletown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
