She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carothers and Dorothy Carothers (Wahl). She is survived by: her children, Kevin John Slates (Angela) and Sara Jane Martin (Robert); her grandchildren, Henry Grieco, Lana Grieco, Lucy Grieco and Matthew Slates; and her siblings, John Carothers (Betsy) and Linda Carothers Good (Robert).
