He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas A. Umberger and Hazel V. Umberger (Custer); his daughter Kelly Highfield; his granddaughter Stacy Dell; and his sister Barbara Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carlene Dell of Harrisburg and Christy Umberger of Harrisburg; his sister Bonnie Saint Sing (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Nicole Rodriquez and Derek Fisher. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
