He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Meyerhoffer and Martha Meyerhoffer (McCorkle); and his siblings, Robert Meyerhoffer and Brenda Shepler. He is survived by: his wife Annie L. Meyerhoffer (Frank); his sons, Roger Meyerhoffer (Judy) of Palmyra and Dale Meyerhoffer (Sarah) of Hummelstown; his brothers, Bernie Meyerhoffer, Ray Meyerhoffer, Harvey Meyerhoffer and Gary Meyerhoffer; and his grandchildren, Shannon Meyerhoffer Umberger (Zack), Bryan Meyerhoffer (Loren), Alyson Meyerhoffer Burnham (Dawson) and Catherine Martinez. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
