She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Witmeyer and Pauline Witmeyer (Christman); and her husband John E. Painter, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Billie J. Crawford (Glen), Kenneth L. Witmeyer (Lori), Gary E. Painter (Christina) and Tracy A. Presley (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Ashley Painter, Christi George, Tiffany Painter, Johnny Painter, Jessica Rohland, Eric Rohland, Anthony Painter, Gary Painter, Jr. and Bryce Painter; and her siblings, Dave Witmeyer, John Witmeyer, Jr. and Ellen Lutz. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
