She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lightner and Violet Lightner (Ensminger); her husband William L. Groves; her son Edward Lightner Groves; and her sister Dorothy L. Gingrich.
She is survived by: her children, William Lightner Groves (Tami) of Hummelstown, Kenneth Lightner Groves (Paula) of Palmyra and Rita George of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Dan Lightner, Becky Lightner, Rachel Groves, Erica Groves and Adam Groves; and her pet Bear.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
