She was predeceased by: her spouse James E. Koch Jr.; her parent Thomas A.; her son Frederick; and her sisters, Eva and Violet.

She is survived by: her parent Rose M. Straup (Costenbader); her children, Kathryn (Keith Schnell) of Lehighton, Ruthann (Harry Moore) of Auburn, NJ, Paul III (Linda) of Palmerton and James III; her wife Deborah Mae of Lehighton; and her sister Betty Mertz of Palmerton. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
