He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Szoke and Mary Szoke (Butch). He is survived by: his sons, Lance J. Szoke (Jennifer) of Jim Thorpe and Richard W. Szoke of Palmerton; his stepsiblings, Anna (Randy Fowler) of North Carolina and Michael Szoke of South Carolina; and his grandson Logan Szoke.
