He was predeceased by: his parent John Tartar; and his daughter Deborah Tartar. He is survived by: his spouse Jane Tartar (Anthony); his parent Rose Tartar (Schlager); his daughter Paula A. Papay (Steven Rodrigues) of Palmerton; his grandchildren, Shawn Papay (Shelley), Mark Papay, Shannon Papay, Shelly (Todd Reiner) and Alanna (Gabe Franko); and his great grandchildren, Alesha Papay, Jarrid Papay, Ashley, Nikelle, Savannah, Sheldan Schleicher, Vanessa, Landan, Levi Papay, Elizabeth Franko and Jack Franko.
