With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jane Steinmetz Bray (Palmerton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Steinmetz and Laura Steinmetz (Person); her siblings, Robert Steinmetz and Terry Steinmetz; her husband Marvin Bray of Palmerton; and her daughter Mary Ellen Bray.
She is survived by: her sisters, Diane Gerlach and Peggy Shaffer (Roger); her children, Thomas Andrew Bray, Laura Bray Harting (Donald) and Catherine Elizabeth Bray Donohue (Steve); her grandchildren, James Bray, Daniel Speorl (Jennifer), Nathanael Harting, Luke Donohue (Jessica), Patrick Donohue (Paige), Marielle Todd (James) and Eliza Elgin (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Noah, Lily, Jacob, Athena and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, Palmerton, PA or your local Episcopal Church.
