He was predeceased by: his parents, John Epting and Helen Epting (Rahn); his daughter Anne Marie Epting; and his siblings, Kenneth Epting and Joanne Fister.

He is survived by: his spouse Mary A. Epting (Franczak); and his daughter Elizabeth Gates of Quakertown.
