He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara A. Patterson (Voss); his parents, Clarence L. Sr. Patterson and Nellie E. Patterson (Jones); and his daughter Nancy Ziegenfus. He is survived by: his children, James L. Patterson (Cheryl) of Danielsville and Lynn N. (Russell Bensinger) of Danielsville; and his son-in-law Barry Ziegenfus of Lebanon. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
