She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Moss and Celia Moss (Cutler); her husband Sidney Scherzer; her daughter Laurie Shainker; and her sisters, Lilly Scherzer and Frances Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Linda Lewis (Irwin Lewis). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
