He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Carl and Emma Carl (Bartholomew); and his siblings, Earl, Samuel, William Carl (Anna Ziegler) and Edith Hagen (Dorothy Hagemes).
He is survived by: his wife Alma A. Carl (Hetrick); and his children, Kevin A. Carl of Palm and Renee A. Carl-Fegley of Emmaus.
