She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilmer T. Pohley and Sena F. Pohley of Southampton, NY; her former husband Thomas M. Spiers; and her daughters, Marguerite A. Pellissier (Peter) of Glen Rock, PA and Jennifer L. Handlin (William) of North Chesterfield, VA. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Union Presbyterian Church.
