He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean A. Covington Rifenburg; and his sister Margaret Petrovich. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Krumm; and his children, Douglas W. (Sally), Joseph S. (Pat), Ronald K. (Judy), Dave Rifenburg and Alison Rifenburg Osborne. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
