He was predeceased by: his father George Calvin Guss, III; his daughter Shannon Teresa; and his brother Matthew Guss. He is survived by: his mother Louise Kearney Guss; his children, Michael J. Guss (Megan Ann), Danny Guss and Megan Guss; the mother of his children Maureen Brough; his grandchildren, Joey Ann Guss and Daniel Matthew Guss; and his brother Christian Guss (Monica).
