He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Carroll and Rosalie Carroll (Kennedy); his wife Sally Laine; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Drake Fox (Rena) and Linda Fox; his stepgranddaughters, Ashley Yerkes (Will) and Brandi Arrell; and his siblings, Katherine Carroll Hurwitz (Ivan) and Tom Carroll (Rosemary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
