It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael E. Eller of Oxford, Pennsylvania, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Bud" Eller and Eleanor Eller (Farmer); his stepfather Frank McCoury; and his nephew Mark Simmons. He is survived by: his sisters, Teresa Ogino (Mike) of Oxford, PA and Phyllis Barlow (Tim) of Cochranville, PA; his nieces and nephews, Brian Simmons (Niccki), David Ogino (Stephanie), Angela Barlow, Krystal Stouffer (Brad), Steven Barlow (Audrey) and Wesley Ogino; and his close friends, Jorge Bravo, Marilyn Ortiz and Mary Roop.
He sold Fuller Brush (becoming area manager while still in high school) and TV guides door to door, operated his own neighborhood library with actual library cards out of his bedroom (getting kids to donate their books, then charging them late fees when they didn't return them on time…), ran for 3 years a Ronald McDonald's Carnival to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and operated Eller's Market selling groceries, deli items, gasoline and other general store items.
