She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Walters and Grace Walters (Dale); her husband Jack Strohmier; her son David Strohmier; and her sister Edith Walters.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Kramer (Jim), Steven Strohmier (Sabrina) and Dana Hartman of Boxborough, MA; and her siblings, James (Sally), Mary Margaret Walters of Cresson and Faith Godfrey (Gene) of Cresson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
