She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Witman and Louise Reynolds Witman; and her sister Hope Kirk. She is survived by: her significant other Dale Pennell; her children, Elizabeth Taylor, Gregory and Randy; her children-in-law, Alison Carlisle Pennell, Erin Krasniewicz and James Taylor; her grandchildren, Amber, Zachary, Claire, James, Jake and Kathleen; and her brother John Witman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the restoration and beautification of the park, whose twisty pines and whippoorwills were the scenery and soundtrack of her life.
