She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sturgill and Margaret E. Sturgill (Garrison); her spouse Sidney "Ray" Stout; and her stepgranddaughter Dominque Giordano. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Lynn Schied (Fred) of Maryland, Thomas Ray Stout (Karin) of Maryland and Tina Louise Giordano of Maryland; her grandchildren, Troy Giordano, Riley and Jessie Stout; and her stepgrandsons, James and Anthony Giordano. She is also survived by three siblings.
