She was predeceased by: her parent William Shields. She is survived by: her spouse William Freese; her parent Flora Gifford Shields; and her siblings, Alma Shields Reynolds, William H. Shields, Jr. (Judy Shields) of Newark, DE, Dan E. Shields (Michelle Corbin Shields) of Aurora, CO and Flora Shields Herr (Joseph McBride) of Kirkwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Oxford Church of the Nazarene.
