He was predeceased by: his parent John Shires. He is survived by: his spouse Rebecca L. Weaver Shires; his parent Ethel Gray Shires; his daughters, Terry Shires Smyth (John) of Oxford, Sherry Shires Damico of Lancaster and Jonna Shires Ryman of Oxford; his grandchildren, Jayme Weakland (Frank), Charles Clendenin, Richard Clendenin, John McClure, Adam McClure and Emily Velazquez (Josh); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Austin, Penny and Carter; and his sisters, Lois Haley (Donald) of Pleasant Hill, MD. and Darlene Baluta (George) of Pleasant Hill, MD..
