He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Lafferty and Marie T. Lafferty (Smith); his wife Maria Lafferty (Karolyi); his brother Joseph Lafferty; his sons, Daniel Lafferty and James Lafferty III; and his grandson Jeremy.
He is survived by: his children, Maria (Steve Jacobson) and Michael Lafferty (Sarah); his grandchildren, Angelina, Michael, Nicholas, Kayla, James, Danny, Joshua and Crystal; his great grandchildren, Aria, Anna and Paisley; and his siblings, Edward Trotter, Anthony Trotter and Helen Ricciardi.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home (33 W Baltimore Pike, Clifton Heights, PA 19018). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
