Henry James left this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Dillow Proctor; and his parents, Henry Hoopes and Mildred Dunn Proctor. He is survived by: his children, Bob Proctor (Sue) of West Chester and Dana Simpson (Jeffrey) of West Grove; his grandchildren, Devon (John) and Bailey Proctor; his children, Saunders, Matt (Kathy), Sara Moore (Casey Farr) and Tyler Simpson (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Arthur, Riley, Colton, Melanie and Lindsay; and his sisters, Jane (Frank Dulin) and Victoria (Ed Skladany). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM.

“I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful wonderful man he shared all his John Deer collection with me in his basement. He had just taken me and a friend out to lunch at Schaefer's in Chesapeake City back in November what a special time that was. My condolences to the family I will miss Jim greatly.”
