He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Johann and Anna Marie Eisenmann Strohmaier; and his brothers, William, George and Christian.

He is survived by: his wife Marie DiEmedio Strohmaier; his children, Karl Strohmaier (Rose) of Port Murray, NJ, Kerry Kraft (Dave) of Manheim, PA, Kurt Strohmaier (Judy), Erin Liberti (Mark) of Newark, DE and Eric Strohmaier; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Rada (Greg), Heidi Cosans (Jeremy), Darcie Woltering (Eric), Heather Walls, Justin R. Strohmaier, Julie Lagonera (Robert), Kirby L. Strohmaier and Russell Strohmaier (Elisa). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lieb's memory may be made to Community of Love Lutheran Church.
