It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Dexter Main of Oxford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Dexter Main to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Letcher Main and Mamie Eldreth Main; his son Jack "Dexter" Main; and his stepson David Howell. He is survived by: his sons, Michael D. Main of North East, MD and Glenn S. Main of Mount Wolf; his stepdaughter Susan Bowers of Shamong, NJ; and his sister Ruby Metzer of North East, MD.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Legion Mason Dixon Post #194, 388 E. Main St., Rising Sun, MD 21911.
