She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Sack and Mary Zwolinski Sack. She is survived by: her spouse Franklin J. "Joe" Carstens; her children, Karen Flad (David) of Lincoln University, PA and Joseph P. Carstens (Krista) of Downingtown, PA; her sister Laverne Sack of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Brian M. Flad of Philadelphia, PA, Stephanie Sibley (Andrew) of Phoenixville, PA, Michelle Leisenring (Michael) of Downingtown, PA, Matthew Carstens of Downingtown, PA, Eric D. Carstens (Anna) of Dunkirk, MD and Morgan W. Carstens (Haley E. Carstens) of Raleigh, NC; her sister Arlene Santo Salvo of Scotch Plains, NJ; and her grandson Kevin Flad of Lincoln University, PA.. She is also survived by friends, especially her more recent time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
