He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Chew and Ethel McQuire Chew; and his brother William Chew. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schaefer Chew; his children, Robert "Bob" Chew (Tammy) of Quarryville, Bryan Chew (Dorine) of Nottingham and Lauri Phillips (Fred) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Michael, Molly, Brendan, Travis, Jaxson, Makenna, Rylee and Nolan; and his brother Thomas Chew.
