It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Harold Nixon Sr. of Oxford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley White Nixon; his parents, Howard S. Nixon, Sr. and Nellie Miller Nixon; his children, Valorie Nixon of Parkesburg, Lewis Nixon (Ana) of Lancaster, Terence Nixon of King and Margaret "Porky" Baynard of Lebanon; his stepson Robert A. Coleman of Coatesville; and his sister Louise Nixon of Christiana. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and godchildren, and 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Anna Mary Hopkins Scholarship Fund through Mount Zion AME Church. Donations can be sent or texted.
