He was predeceased by: his parent Salvadore Zavala; and his son Carlos Zavala, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Maria Elaina Lopez Zavala; his parent Guadalupe Garcia of Mexico; his children, Javier Zavala of Mexico, Laura Zavala of Oxford and Magaly Zavala Villa of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Maria, Lilly Julian, Layla and Roman.
