As we bid Alonzo farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alonzo is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes S. Brown and Mabel S. Brown of Oxford Pa. He is survived by: his wife Velma Jane (Lane); and his sons, Allen Brown (Joanna), Alonzo Brown Jr. (Karen) and Vincent Brown (Vickie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family requests donations to the Union Fire Company of Oxford, Pa. or Oxford United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers or gifts.
