He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Herstine and Elizabeth Litzenberger. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen H. Herstine (Eckert); his children, Janet E. Rogers (Douglas) of Perkasie, PA, Carol A. Herstine of Sellersville, PA, Kenneth R. Herstine (Sandra) of Ottsville, PA and Nancy H. Leatherman (R. Galen) of Bedminster, PA; his grandchildren, Matthew Rogers (Nicole), Sarah Garchinsky (Ryan), Scott Herstine, Karen Carwithen (William), Ryan Herstine, Kelly Leatherman, Marie Leatherman and Greg Leatherman (Heather); his great grandchildren, Chase, Madison, Emery, Cassidy, Riley and Liana; and his sister Lorraine Spier.
