He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick A. Hackett and Edith Hackett (Merritt); his children, Scott Frederick, Anita Faye and Jennifer Sue Hackett; his son-in-law David Slocum; and his brothers, Robert and Bradley Hackett.
He is survived by: his wife F. Joanne Hackett (Herrick); his children, Janet Slocum (Mark Gee) and Eric Hackett (Carrie); his grandchildren, Heather Morgan (Wynn), Clinton Slocum (Christina), Brandon Hackett (Felisha), Drew Slocum (Carlee), Alexis Knapp (Kevin Jr.), Dawson Hackett (Gina) and Trenton Hackett; his great grandchildren, Ian, Chloe, Grace, Sebastian, Jai, Yuna, Laila, Lainey, Laiken, Jensen, Kenlee, Carter, Gaven, Alivia, Adalyn and Elliana; his great great grandchildren, Knox and Neilia; and his siblings, Sharron Jones, Carlie McDivitt (Butch), William Hackett (Lois) and Deborah Chilson (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
