He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Grossmer and Kathryn Grossmer (Slogaski); his wife Betty Grossmer (Bryan); his children, Carol Arlene Pennisi and James Grossmer; and his brother Joseph Grossmer.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Irene Grossmer; his sons, Robert Grossmer, Jr. of Osceola Mills, PA, Kenneth Grossmer (Irene) of Osceola Mills, PA, Gerald Grossmer of Philadelphia, PA and Frank Grossmer of Philadelphia, PA; and his sister Kathryn Herr (Alvin) of Osceola Mills, PA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
