He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. "Ziggy" Ernest and Helen Ernest Kopriva (Pietraszun); and his brother-in-law Joseph M. Martella. He is survived by: his sister Janice M. Martella of Johnstown, PA; and his caregiver Teresa Szala of Osceola Mills, PA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
