He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Showers and Isabel Showers (Hockenberry); his son Jeffrey S. Showers; and his brother John Pritchard. He is survived by: his sons, Francis E. "Gene" Showers, Jr. (Christle) of Wallaceton, PA and Robert M. Showers of Altoona, PA; and his sisters, Inez Trump of Hawk Run, PA, Lois Patrick of Houtzdale, PA and Evelyn Bryant (Robert) of Morrisdale, PA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
