With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn F. Melius (Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jones and Mary Jones (Gilespie); her husband Irvin C. Melius; her son William Melius; her grandchildren, Colleen Box, Amy Casher and William Melius, Jr.; and her great grandchild Nathan Brnik.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas H. Melius (Shirley) of State College, PA and Daniel W. Melius of Grass Valley, CA; her sister Gloria Rouse (Robert); her grandchildren, Greg Furrow, Brent Melius, Tom Gunter, Jennifer Casher, Christine Brnik, Jeremy Boone and Jessie Boone; and her daughter-in-law Melanie Melius. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
