He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shaffer and Ruth Shaffer (Shaw); and his wife Debra J. Shaffer (Learish). He is survived by: his children, Aimee Harris (Raymond), Bobbi Jo Sherick and Daniel Shaffer (Donielle); his grandchildren, Hunter Bloom, Garrett Bloom, Ethan Bloom, Bryant Shaffer and Breanna Shaffer; his great grandchild Dalton Bloom; his sisters, Nancy Summerfield and Dorothy Wickwire; and his friend Tammie Biancuzzo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
