Effie M. Sankey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie M. Sankey (Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 2, 2013, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Cowfer and Sarah Cowfer (Woods); her husband Joseph E. Sankey, Sr.; her daughters, Nancy Brolin and Peggy Owens; her siblings, Verna Wick, Flossie Crain and David Cowfer; and her children-in-law, Lydia Sankey, Clyde "Bud" Mignot, Richard Williams and Gary Marty.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Ann Haney (Richard) of Drifting, PA, Beverly Mignot of Allport, PA, Judith Bires (Michael), Bonnie Marty (Frank Brennamen) of Lewistown, PA, Kathy Olson (David) of Clearfield, PA, Joseph E. Sankey, Jr. of Osceola Mills, PA, Daniel I. Sankey of Houtzdale, PA, John W. Sankey (Peggy), Fred H. Sankey (Jamie) of Greenville, PA and Lex Brolin. She is also survived by son-in-law; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
