It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter G. Furer of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Walter departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Walter. Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Furer (Norman); and his parents, George Pyle and Mildred Furer. He is survived by: his spouse Darnell Furer (Farley); and his daughters, Tara Furer-Romig (Timothy) of Orwigsburg, PA, Rebecca Caplan (Sloan) of Lititz, PA and Ashley Russo (Peter) of Orwigsburg, PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
