It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Smith of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Dorothy Smith (Hearn). He is survived by: his wife Lola Smith (Welikonich); his daughters, Denise Grajewski (Mark) of Greenwood, SC and Erika Fisher (Matthew) of Orwigsburg; his siblings, Harold Smith of Palo Alto, Russell Smith of Palo Alto, Joseph Smith of Frackville and Carol Newton of Palo Alto; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Grajewski, Christian Fisher and Zoe Fisher.
