It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Matthias of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Freeman (Whie) and James Freeman; and her close friend Robert Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Donald Matthias (Clastine), Claude Matthis, III (Christina) and Mary Reinhart (Royce); her stepdaughter Loretta Lewis; and her brother James Freeman (Sandy). She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
