He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive P. Behler (Koch) and Elmer H. Behler; his sons, Donald E. Behler and Kerry A. Behler; and his brother Daniel L. Behler.

He is survived by: his son Thomas E. Behler (Aida) of Deer Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 16 N 4th St, Minersville, PA 17954.
