He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Stokes and Dollye D. Stokes (Andrews); his grandson Joshua James Stokes; and his niece Sheryl Faust. He is survived by: his sons, James W. Stokes, Jr. (Joann) of Cressona, Kurt Stokes of Cressona and Kevin Stokes of Cressona; his siblings, Donna (William Dzurek) and Randy Stokes (Coleen); his grandchildren, Justin (Carrie), Joseph (Ashley), Alexis (Andrew) and Kaitlyn; his close friends, Jordan, Tyler and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Keira, Grayson, Bryden and Faye.
